Shawn has over 25 years’ experience in financial services. He specializes in the sales and structuring of derivative and investment solutions to hedge key market risks for institutional and corporate clients across Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. In his last role, Shawn was the Regional Head of Global Markets for First Abu Dhabi Bank, responsible for building and growing the sales and trading teams in Asia. Prior to this, he was Head of Emerging Markets Structuring for Nomura International. Shawn holds a BCom in Finance, Accounting & Business Law from the University of Western Australia and is also a CFA® charter holder.
