Shane O’Neill

Global Head of Capital Markets

Shane joined Validus in 2021 and heads up the Interest Rates business. Before joining Validus, Shane spent much of the last decade as an interest rates derivatives trader at Lloyds Bank and ING. He also worked with the corporate treasury of Total SA, managing their FX, interest rate and cash positions. Shane holds a BSc (Hons) from Imperial College London and an MA in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University.
