Alexander Mabeka

Alexander Mabeka is the Global Head of Trading Operations at Validus Risk Management, bringing over 15 years of international experience across capital markets, wealth management and fund administration in Canada, the UK and Australia. A proven leader across FX, derivatives, equities and fixed income. He is known for building high-performing cross-functional teams, streamlining processes and driving operational excellence.

Alexander joined Validus from TD Bank, where he served as Director of FX Middle Office Operations for North America. In Canada, he held roles at Gluskin Sheff + Associates, BMO Global Asset Management, RBC and HSBC. In London, he worked at Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers, and began his career at Citigroup in Australia. Alex holds degrees from Western Sydney University and York University.
