A former client Gianluca joined Validus in late 2022. He began his career at JPMorgan- London in 1996, then spent 10 years in mid-market M&A at KPMG Corporate Finance, working on buy and sell side deals for corporates and sponsors. From 2007, he was a leveraged banker at the Bank of Ireland. He later joined Standard Life Investments and Hark, focusing on mid-market direct lending, high yield, multi-asset credit and concentrated NAV lending. Gianluca holds a BSc (Econ) in Analytical and Descriptive Economics from LSE and an MSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Bristol.
